Even as earlier reports of experts from IIT Rourkee are yet awaited another sample of mud has been sent for check. Reportedly two samples of soil have been extracted to be sent for checkup. Experts state that these samples will provide a clearer picture of the soil strength.
Noteworthy that one portion of Ridge opposite Gaiety theater has been sinking since 2008. Temporary solutions have been tried but nothing worked out.Therefore a team of experts from IIT Rourkee has been contracted to find a permanent solution. The report of these experts is awaited.
