Bodies of seven others untraceable

Six more bodies were recovered under the debris of the massive landslide at Neugalseri in Kinnaur district this morning raising death toll to 23. However seven others are still untraceable. A massive landslide had occurred on Wednesday here, burying half dozen of vehicles including a HRTC Bus in the mishap.
Deputy commissioner Kinnaur Abid Husain Sadik said that rescue operation began at 0600 hrs again today and six more bodies recovered. Total 23 bodies have recovered and 13 injured were rescued in the mishap.
The land slide and Shooting Stones wreak havoc at Nigulsari area of Nichar Subdivision in Kinnuar district in the morning of Aug 11 as one Himachal Pradesh Roadways Bus two Car, one Passenger Vehicle (Tata Sumo) and one Truck buried under the debris. A Balero Camper (SUVs)  and its passengers are not still untraceable. It might be possible that the vehicle might have rolled down with the debris.
23 dead bodies have been recovered from the incident site so far, seven passengers of HRTC bus who have been identified also missing and untraceable in the mishap. Now Hindustan Tibet National Highway (NH-5) is through for vehicular activities and Police team has deployed for the management of traffic.
A shooting stone on Friday also hit another HRTC bus passing from the incident site, two passengers got minor injuries and were sent for first aid to CHC Bhawanagar.
The Search and Rescue operation is continuing on the fourth day to trace the missing ten or more people.
