Three arrested in HRTC conductor examination paper leak matter : DGP

Eight member special Investigation Team probing  HRTC conductors recruitment examination questions paper leak scam so far arrested three persons  including Lucky Sharma & Sunny Sharma s/o Sh. Hemraj Sharma, Village Batadi, PO Adahal, Rohru in Shimla district and Manoj Kumar, s/o Sh. Atma Ram r/o village Boharka, PO Bhalli, Tehsil Jawali in Kangra district.   This was stated by Director General of Police Sanjay Kandu in a press statement issued here today.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted by DGP to investigate the matter. The SIT is headed by Bimal Gupta, IPS, DIG (Crime)  includes SP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan, SP Shimla Mohit Chawla, SP Cyber Crime Shimla, Sandeep Dhawal, SP CID intelligence Shimla Mr. Sandeep Bhardwaj, Addl. SP, Solan Ashok Kumar,  Deputy Superintendent of Police Renu Kumari, and DSP Mandi,  Karan Singh Guleria.

The SIT members have been selected from different districts as the investigation has State wide ramifications.  It will ascertain the involvement of any organized gang or group behind the whole episode. The SIT shall also probe any irregularity/lapses in conduct of examination, DGP added.
