The weather fury continues in Himachal Pradesh as the state was lashed by
widespread incessant rainfall disrupting normal life, three persons washed away at Manikaran yesterday could not be traced moreover many roads, power supply and water schemes are affected in the state.
Three persons missing in Saturday mishap from Manikaran could not be traced yet. Moreover heavy rainfall on Sunday disrupted 14 link roads and one national highway. Roads affected by the rainfall include One each in
Dharmshala, Kalpa in Kinnuar, Kullu and Manali, Udaipur, Chopal , Theog, Rampur , Rohru and Dodra Kawar of Shimla district.
National highway 707 between Poanta and ShilLai continues to be blocked since last month due to a heavy landslide.
Eight power supply schemes are affected in Nichar and Kalpa and seven water supply schemes in Lahual subdivision of the state.
Meanwhile the Met office has sounded red alert of very heavy rainfall and flash-flood at Banjar and Anni in Kullu, Gohar and Karsog
of Mandi, and Chopal of Shimla. Warning of heavy rain also issued for Paonta Sahib, Sadar Mandi and Nichar subdivision of Kinnuar, Jawali, Fetehpur and Jawalamukhi of Knagra district.
