Four people have tested positive in Shimla district today. Two were in saraswati Nagar(Jabbal-Kotkhai region) in Home quarantine and two others were in institution quarantine at Hotel Holiday Home, confirmed Amit Kashyap Deputy Commissioner Shimla.
The two in HHH paid institutional quarantine , one is male aged 23 yrs from Sarahan (Rampur) had returned from Canada via Delhi and another 29 year male from Shimla also returned from Delhi.
The other a couple from Saraswati Nagar( Jubbal Teh) aged 38 and 36 years returned from Delhi were in Home Quarantine because they came from then non red zone Delhi district.
All are being shifted to CCC Mashobra, added the official.
The total cases in district now are 26 with 12 active now.
Earlier during the day 3 were tested positive from Kangra. A 55 years old male and 47 years old female, resident of Vill lage Lahad PO Upper lambagoan with travel history from delhi on 7th June by own car. Husband wife both having co-morbidities have been tested positive and being shifted to DCHC Dharamsala
Third, A 27 years old male resident of Bhunkher (Bhullana) returned from South Delhi on 11th June in a taxi presently in home quarantine has tested positive. He is asymptomatic with no co-morbidity and is shifted to DCCC Baijnath stated DC Kangra Rakesh Prajapati.
The total cases in Kangra are 158, as 59 are active.
