Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati informed about the negative report of 26 samples of Corona suspects in Kangra district and said that effective steps are being taken by the district administration to prevent the spread of corona virus infection from time to time which includes advising people to stay in their homes.
Rakesh said that cooperation of all citizens is necessary to prevent infection of corona virus and effective steps have also been taken to provide medicine and ration at the door of the house for the convenience of the citizens.
Depots are scheduled to be opened from 8 am to 2 pm so that people can get ration on time and public do not crowd in the depots.
The managers of industries in rural areas who have been allowed to work under lockdown have been instructed to comply with the social distance law and labor will also be completely prohibited from being brought from outside areas, Rakesh informed further.
Under the Integrated Child Development Program, permission has also been given for home delivery of nutritious food to children, midwives and pregnant women once in fifteen days so that they all can get the benefit of nutritional scheme.
Today i.e April 21, essential supply was ensured in Kangra district through 13 vehicles of bread, 305 vegetable vehicles, 92 vehicles of milk, 31 vehicles of LPG, 06 vehicles of petrol diesel and 146 vehicles of grain. In addition, under the Public Distribution System, 35 trucks of wheat and 16 trucks of rice have been supplied.
