Weather and snow vagries continue to wreak havoc in the state of Himachal Pradesh as people in large numbers are facing inhospitable weather condition, Avalanches and frost bites, loss of life in road mishaps and injuries.
Deputy commissioner Kinnuar Abid Hussain Sadik told us that three people died and two other injured in Kinnuar district of Himachal Pradesh in last 24 hrs in separate weather and road related mishap
Three persons died in a car mishap also occured in intervening night of Feb 6&7 when a Alto-800 (Applied For) fell down Near Kathgaon under Nichar Tehsil. He said that three persons died on the spot and the bodies are being recovered by the QRT Police from deep gorge.
Deceased were identified as Babu Ram(38) S/O Bhub singh Age:38 village Kraba Teshil Nichar, Sunil (24) S/O Seti Ram and Kundan(35) both residents of Nepali.
Immediate relief Rs 20,000 given to deceased persons family.
Two persons traveling in a car on Monday around 11am was hit by a shooting stoon incident Near Karchham Dam, under Tehsil Kalpa of Kinnaur district about 95 km from here when a Landslide occurred.
Administeration got information today that a car (No HP 25 B 0077) enroute from Reckong -peo to Tapri got hit by shooting stone falling from the hill
near Karchham Dam.
He said that in the mishap two persons sustained minor Injuries and have been sent to JSW Sholtu Hospital for treatment and discharged after first aid.
The injured identified as Anupma wife of Ankush resident of Vikasnagar Distt Hamirpur and Vinay kumar son of Narender of VPO Kothi, Tehsil Kalpa. Vinay Kumar was current serving as Block Development Officer at Bhawanagar in Kinnuar district.
