Near about 600 development projects are pending in Himachal Pradesh due to to lack of forest clearance. Chief Minister jairam Thakur expressed concern on forest clearance issue today here and said that the state government is waiting for Supreme Court’s directions on forest clearances. In press conference, Chief Ministers jairam Thakur said that state government has completed all formalities to establish Shiv Dham at Mandi town but due to lack of forest clearance commencement of construction work is pending. He said that state government has put it’s point of view strongly in supreme court and waiting for positive direction.
He said that state government has sent proposal to finance commission for financial aid to establish green field airport Balh. He added that central government going to establish three bulk drug pharma hub in India and state government trying to get one of these bulk drug pharma hub in Himachal. This project required 10000 crore investment and able to provide employment for 20000 people with 17000 crore turnover.
