As many as 17 were cured today in Himachal Pradesh, raising the number to 402 and recovery rate to around 62%. The cases cured today are 14 from Kangra, 1, from Shimla and 2 in Una, stated RD Dhiman ACS Health. He said that today 22 also tested positive for COVID-19 in Himachal Pradesh taking the total tally to 650 with 229 active now. Those found positive of Virus are 11 in Hamirpur, 4 in Kangra , 1 in Kullu, 3 from Shimla, 2 from Sirmour and 1 in Solan district of the state.
With 11 cases from Hamirpur, the total here is 166. Among these 56 are active cases, 109 have cured till date. On Friday 11 cases were traced in the district.
In Kangra district 4 tested positive today, whereas 14 recovered. Here the total active cases are 55 as 114 recover till date, he informed. On Friday 8 cases were tested positive here.
In the Capital Shimla 3 cases were reported taking the total tally here to 29. Of these 14 are active, as one more recovered moving total cured tally to 12, stated Dhiman.
Adding the two in Sirmour the total case here are 30. Those cured are 10 with 13 active cases and 7 migrated out of the state for treatment, till date, he informed.
Dhiman further informed that adding the single case of the day in Solan the total is 73. In the district, till date 39 is active, 30 have been cured whereas 4 migrated out of state for treatment. Here 9 cases were reported positive on Friday.
In kullu too, one case was reported positive today. Here total tally has gone to 5 with 2 active cases and 1 cured.
Overall in the state of the total people 650 tested positive for infection 402 have been cured, 229 remain active and 6 deaths have been reported till date. Also a total of 11 people have moved out of the state for treatment, he added.
