Shimla, Jun 12
While disclaiming the allegations pressed by BJP leader Ramesh Dhawala on party General Secretary Pawan Rana and other party office bearers, two party legislators from Kangra, Rakesh Pathania and Rita Dhiman today stated that the statement of the senior BJP leader could be his personal viewpoint. Whereas nothing about General secretary or any other office bearer was discussed in the meeting, they added. Further in support of Rana they added that the he has sacrificed home to work for the growth of organisation.
They said that the statement given by Ramesh Dhawala would be his personal opinion or problem, whereas none of the other BJP legislators from Kangra have any problems with party General Secretary.
They said that the objective of the meeting with Chief Minister on Thursday was to talk budgetary provisions for various pending developmental projects in their constituencies. Explaining they added that few MLAs could not keep their issues in the legislative party meeting convened before, therefore this meeting was organised with the CM.
Responding to media queries Dhawala had said after this meeting on Thursday that most of MLAs raised their concern with the Chief Minister over alleged interference of Rana in their developmental works and is playing the politics by promoting the petty leaders. He had alleged that Rana is creating divide in the party by playing politics instead of uniting the Organisation.
Dhawala is senior leader from Kangra as being consider close to BJP stalwart Shanta Kumar. He is raising this issue for last couple of years and the party has failed to resolve it. Pathania is BJP member of assembly from Nurpur and Dhiman from Indora.
