Motivating migrant labourers on the occasion of ‘World Labour day’ SR Mardi, DGP of Himachal Pradesh stated that currently the hill state is one of the most safe in the country, and very soon employment opportunities are going to open up here. Therefore migrant labour should speculate remaining a put here. Adding, that in case they feel that it is important to go to their home state, then they should apply as per procedure and their state government will make the necessary arrangements as per Government of India guidelines.
Giving the onus to Chief Minister JaiRam Thakur and citizens of the state for the good performance of the state he informed that currently there are only 7 active cases and 28 cases have been ‘Cured’ in the state but countrywide situation is not so good. Adding that, World health Organization (WHO) has stated that the month of May month is very critical for India. He said that while downloading the ‘Aarogyasetu’ app one should be careful it is done through the ‘My Govt.in’ or from play store sites. Neighboring countries have been sending fake ‘Aarogyasetu’ links, through social media message. He urged that any app link with extension ’Apk’ should not be downloaded at any cost, or else it can steal the data from the phone. Adding he informed that currently no district of the state is termed ‘Red zone’. As of now 5 districts (Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, Solan & Sirmour) are in orange zone and the 7 others are in ‘Green zones’. If no new case is reported in these 5 districts for consecutive 21 days, then even the ‘Orange zone’ districts will also be turned ‘Green’.
