Shimla, April 22
The state government today decided to give incentives to the outsourced employees engaged in Covid-19 pandemic @ 200 per shift. It was also decided that government besides providing better treatment to Covid patients under home isolation, would also be provided a nutrition kit. The meeting of State Cabinet held here today took these decisions.
he council of ministers also decided to constitute Mobile Teams at block level to provide better treatment to the covid-19 patients under home isolation and one vehicle would be provided exclusively to shift the serious patients. It was also decided in the meeting that each Medical College would have dedicated Team headed by senior doctor to supervise the Covid-19 cases for better treatment of patients in hospitals.
The CoM also stated that the government officers/officials will preferably get vaccinated in government hospitals/ health institutions. Government would provide free of cost vaccination to people between 18 to 44 years in government health institutions.
Jobs/regularizations
The Cabinet decided to regularize the services of daily/contingent workers who have completed five years of continuous services as on 31st March, 2021 or are completing on 30th September, 2021 against the available vacant posts in various departments.
It also gave its nod to regularize the services of contractual employees who have completed three years of services as on 31st March, 2021 or are completing on 30th September, 2021 in various departments of the State Government.
The Cabinet decided to convert the services of part time workers completing eight years of continuous services on 31st March, 2021 or are to complete on 30th September, 2021 in government departments into daily wagers.
It also decided to fill up 19 posts of technical and ministerial staff in State Seri Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Centre at Balichowki in Mandi district for smooth functioning of this newly opened Centre.
The Cabinet accorded consent to fill up two posts of Block Development Officers in Rural Development Department through direct recruitment.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to open Government Industrial Training Institute at Baroti in Tehsil Dharampur in Mandi district alongwith creating of 26 posts of different categories to man this institution.
Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues contributed their one month salary towards Chief Minister Covid Fund in the Cabinet.  The cheques were handed over by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to the Chief Secretary Anil Khachi on the occasion.
