As many as 78 people found positive for nCoV in Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hrs increasing the tally to 1291 in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary Health and Nodal Officer of Covid-19 Mr R D Dhiman said that 69 people found positive in Solan, four in Hamirpur, three cases are tested positive in Kangra one each in Shimla and one in Mandi today.
As per reports, samples of 69 people found Positive in Solan district all are from Baddi Nalagarh Industrial area .
He said that 21 people reported positive last night in the district and 48 more also reported positive in a report released on Tuesday morning.
In the last 24 hrs the district registered 69 cases which is the highest figure in one day.
He said that a report of 70 samples was awaited on Monday night which was released on Tuesday Morning stating that 48 among 70 samples was positive for Coronavirus.
Most of the new cases belonged to a factory unit and the rest are the contracts of earlier cases.
In Solan district, total number of cases increased to 256 in the district including 153 active and recovered 99.
Total cases mounted to1291 in Himachal including 340 Active and 927 cured. Nine people died of Pandemic in the state and 13 People shifted to other states.
Police sources also confirmed that 55 yrs old Arvind Kumar alias Babli belonged to House No 816 Gandhi Chowk Kalka of Haryana tested positive in Panchkula on July 12, during his home quarantine.
After returning from MES Jutogh Cantt, he was staying in quarantine.
The victim reportedly contacted Contractor Kuldeep Kumar Khular and GSW Khajan Singh on Jul, 7 during his day long visit to Shimla in a vehicle. Both the people have been sent to institutional quarantine.
