State Administration directed all Deputy Commissioner to sound alert in half dozen of districts after unprecedented moonson rainfall have started taking toll here since Monday. Due to the same a total of 29 roads including Kullu Manali and Chamba -Pathankot highwayhave been closed.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said that Deputy Commissioner Kangra and others five districts have been kept on high alert to rescue the people and loss of properties due to unprecedented moonson rainfall undergoing in the state.
Kullu Police alerted the tourist and local that including many main roads Kullu Manali junction of National Highway -3 has been closed and they should not leave their hotels and homes without confirming about the roads conditions.
Police said that both Roads on left and right bank of Beas river from Kullu to Mandi are closed due to landslide.
Moreover Kullu to Mandi via Aut closed near Pandoh and Kullu to Mandi via Kamand Kataula closed near Kanauj
Earth movers or JCBs are in operation to open the road for traffic, police informed urging people to  restrain or postpone travel unless it was not necessary  till situation improves.

Similar warning has been issued in other places. Moreover National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been deployed in flood hit areas of Kangra district in Shahpur, Bhagsunag and Chantru where many shops, houses, cowshed, road and creamation centre bridges have been washed by flash flood.
The district administration denied the report of cloud burst in Bhagsunag area and attributed that flash flood wreaked havoc in the area after encroachment, illegal dumping and blocking of Nalah.
Deputy commissioner Kangra Mr Nipun Jindal and local Minister rushed to flood affected area to look after rescue operation to trace out missing People and houses on bank of Manjhli river at Shahpur and adjoining areas.

Half dozen House were washed away at Bhoh village of Shahpur and NDRF have rescued four people trapped in the flood more over dozens of people and cattle washed away as flood hit the entire village by heavy landslides.
In Manjhi river one person and two cattle are reported missing and in Gajh khud one person is marrooned in the flash flood .
83 Tourist and local were evecuated or rescued from Triund mountain near Bhagsunag as the footpath washed away by the flash flood, DC said Kangra .
