A married couple end life, by hanging to a deodar tree in Water-lift span of Sheel Village forest under Rohru Police station today, confirmed police source. Superintendent of Police Om Pati Jamwal said that the deceased have been identified as Shanta Kumar (42)son of Gokul Chand resident of Kalgan, Post Office Pujarli and Tehsil Rohru of Shimla district and his wife Meena (40) took the extreme step after hanging to a Deodar tree with help of water lift span on Friday.
Police after getting information about the incident rushed to spot this morning and took both the bodies in their possession. No suicide note has been found from the spot so far
to revealed the reason of such an extreme step. Bodies were taken for postmortem after the incident, stated the SP.
