Shimla, Feb 5

In case a child or a staff member is found COVID-19 positive in an educational institution, then the same shall be closed for 48 hours and can only be opened after proper sanitization as per protocol. Perhaps, bidding ‘adieu’ to COVID-19 the deadly disease, the Cabinet of Ministers in Himachal Pradesh took this decision here today. However the state government note, remains silent about the quarantine requirements laid by ministry of health guidelines. Taking example if a student/teacher or any other staff member of ‘A’ school turns to be positive then as per protocol, all primary and secondary contacts of the infected should be quarantined for min 7 days.
