Shimla, April 25
The state of Himachal Pradesh where night curfew was imposed in four of the twelve districts of the state has been suffering a lot due to COVID-19 and thirty-two more deaths have been reported and 1,363 new cases were tested positive by Sunday evening.
The total death toll in the state has risen to 1,323 according to mission Director NHM, Nipun Jindal. He said that 1,161 older patients were also cured in the state today and were directed to obey the COVID instructions to remain fit.
He said that Kangra district led the tally with twelve deaths, followed by four each in Mandi and Shimla, three each in Una and Hamirpur, two each in Solan and Sirmaur and one each in Bilaspur and Kullu.
Jindal said that the number of active cases in the state had risen to 13,577 with the Kangra district at the top with 3,162 cases.
He said that the total number of positive cases in the district has also gone up to 87,501 and the total number of recovered patients stood at 72,557.
The Mission Director appealed to the people to abide by the COVID guidelines for their safety and thus help the government to combat the CORONAvirus.
