Two tourist died near Rohtang tunnel in a road accident late last night and each other sustained injuries. The deceased belonged to state of Rajasthan.
Superintendent of police Kullu Gaurav Sharma said that a car plying with four tourist fell down in deep gorge at Dhundi on Manali-Rohtang tunnel road killing two on the spot while two injured have been sent to Community Health Centre Manali for treatment.
On a information about the mishap a police party rushed to the spot and evacuated the body from the spot and hospitalized the injured. Deceased were identified as Mohit Chauhan (27) son of Narinder Singh and Amit Chauhan (28) son of Mansingh belonged to Bagdadi-Rani area of Post office Kotputali of Rajasthan.
Bodies of the deceased were brought to Manali Hospital for postmortem, he added.
